Alabama Renewable Energy Assessment Program

Working with Alabama's Mountains, Rivers & Valleys RC&D Council through a grant from USDA Rural Development, the Alabama Renewable Energy Assessment Program provides free renewable energy assessments to help farms and rural businesses navigate the best options for renewable energy. We provide an unbiased, third-party evaluation of a renewable energy project to determine viability and ensure the project is properly sized. 

Assessments can be used to access the USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) which provides grants up to 25% of a project cost and loan guarantees up to 75% of a project cost.
